Why My Mornings Start at 2:30am—and Why Yours Might Too

August 21, 2025

I get a lot of raised eyebrows when people hear I wake up between 2:30 and 3:30am. But for me, those quiet, sacred hours set the tone for everything else.

It starts with mantra chanting. Then meditation. Then spiritual and personal development work that isn’t just a habit—it’s my grounding force. It’s also when I practice Yoga Nidra, a technique I’ve found far more effective in the early day than at night.

This isn’t about productivity hacks. It’s about alignment.

Waking up early means I start my day from a place of stillness, not stress. It means my decisions are made from clarity, not chaos. I’ve found that when I protect the spiritual first, everything else—work, relationships, fitness, business—flows more naturally.

So no, this isn’t a pitch for the “5AM Club.” But if you’re finding yourself off-balance or creatively stuck, maybe the answer isn’t doing more. Maybe it’s starting earlier. Starting with you.
